The Portuguese video lessons are my favourite parts of the entire website. It’s very dynamic and interesting. For a beginner it is ideal since it will give you a better picture of Portuguese culture. There is loads of choice in the video library with loads of different Portuguese video topics. From introducing yourself to small talk, you’ll be listening and watching fluent Portuguese speakers that will teach you about not only how to speak but about Portuguese culture.
In both video and audio lessons you’ll also have access to lesson materials (new words) and review (questions about the new words).
Portuguese Pod has lots of different levels which are suitable for all Portuguese language abilities. You can start with the Absolute Beginner and end up with Advanced. PortuguesePod will help you every step of the way! The great thing about it is that it is based mainly on being able to speak and communicate. You won’t have to worry about all the rules of Portuguese grammar, at least not on this stage. Being able to communicate is very important and then when you communicate, you can improve and finesse your Portuguese.
